Yes. OpenClaw connects through the WhatsApp Business API, which requires a WhatsApp Business account and a verified phone number. Personal WhatsApp accounts are not supported. You can apply for the Business API through Meta's business platform.
Is there a message limit?
DeployClaw imposes no message caps on any plan. WhatsApp's own Business API has conversation-based pricing tiers from Meta, but there are no additional per-message fees from DeployClaw.
Can OpenClaw send files and images through WhatsApp?
Yes. OpenClaw can generate and send PDFs, spreadsheets, images, audio files, and any other document type supported by WhatsApp. It can also receive files you send and process them on your server.
